™Kapton Polyimide is an excellent high temperature single sided brown tape with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive polyimide film. This high temperature tape has excellent dimensional stability, electrical and physical properties over a wide temperature range and is also resistant to a wide range of chemicals. Silicone adhesive will maintain its elastic adhesive properties at high temperatures where other adhesives become hard and brittle.
Due to its high temperature performance this tape has many specialist applications including superior electrical insulation for the aerospace industry and masking tape for printed circuit board coating in tin baths.
