Chipboard foaming adhesive is used for bonding the board to the joist, as well as within the tongue and groove joint itself. It is also used for sealing nail heads and adjacent areas.
The foaming action of the adhesive has gap filling properties, which ensures the fix of the board to the joist is secure. Excess adhesive is designed to foam out of the joints creating a ridge that will enhance the protection of the joint and can be easily removed once the floor is complete.
