Description

Scapa 2525 Semi-conducting Self Amalgamating Tape 0.75mm is a semi-conducting, self-amalgamating EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) tape. The product and interleave are printed with the cautionary words ‘semi-conducting’ to distinguish the product from insulating tapes.

Applications:
  • For ensuring the continuity of conductor and core screens at cable joints in a variety of polymeric and elastomeric insulated cables.
  • For jointing power cables up to 69kV.
  • For stress cone construction, where it provides the conducting layer.
  • For smoothing electrical stresses on irregular shaped lugs and connectors.
  • For smoothing electrical stresses in joints and terminations using premoulded components.
